Day 1: Baghdad

Day 2: Babylon - Karbala

Travel to Babylon to see the Ishtar Gate and the Lion of Babylon. Explore Nebuchadnezzar II’s reconstructed palace and Saddam’s abandoned palace. In Karbala, take a night tour of the shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas, and immerse yourself in the local bazaar. Overnight stay in Karbala.

Day 3: Karbala - Baghdad
