Zumurrud Khatun Mausoleum in Sheik Ma’ruf Cemetery in Baghdad, built in the early 13th century, is distinguished by its brick construction and a nine-layered, cone-shaped muqarnas topped by a small cupola. The tomb belongs to Zumurrud Khatun, the mother of Caliph al-Nasir li-Dinillah, who ruled during the late Abbasid era.
